Advanced bank reconciliation has been designed but no bank statement report provides clear information.
Bank statement report is required base on cutoff date. This report should have option to detail
* reconciled transactions
* Un-reconciled transactions
Customer should be able to have a statement at date of what is in his bank account for Audit, cash management, management decision.
We would like to be able to do reporting in PowerBi on Dimensions. Currently, the dimension set ID field from table 20 is not published on page 20 that we can publish to PowerBi.
This would make reporting much easier with Excel and PowerBi.
I have a client who would sign up today for D365 Financials if the Item Description field was larger. right now it appears to be limited to 50 characters. He need it to be at least 1000 characters.
I am aware of the extended text availabliity, but these also are limited to 50 characters and to enter the description they need 50 characters at a time is a poor work around.
There currently is not a way to import in Dimension Values. In the Dimensions window you can set up your Dimensions, and you then click Dimension Values to enter all possible values for the Dimensions and users would like the ability to import these Dimension Values somehow. In the Dimension Values window the Edit in Excel does now allow one to add values, there is also not an option for Dimension Values in the D365 Configuration Package, this is where I would expect it to be available to import, but nothing is available here. Please add this functionality.
I think I have submitted this idea before but it looks like is disappeared from the site. The oldest idea here I can see is 2 months ago while mine was few months (may be 6 or more months). Anyway I am resubmitting it here:
We are a Microsoft partner. We do have customers with Dynamics 365 for Financials among other licenses.
We do have delegated access (Unlicensed) to our customer's tenants.
When accessing Dynamics 365 online (CRM for example) our names as delegated admins are not stuck in the system and end users do not even see it unless they enable auditing.
With Dynamics 365 for Financials we see that our names as unlicensed delegated admins are stuck there among licensed user.
It would be nice if there is away to delete those users and even hide them as the purpose of the delegated admins is to help customer to troubleshoot or understand the problem.
Keeping those delegated admins in the list cause some confusion to the customer.
I hope it is clear.
Customers could have thousands of items with some "blocked" when they are no longer used. However, those blocked items still show up in lookups when adding items to Sales Invoices which makes the list of items much longer and causes confusion as to what items are actually available. We should either not show "blocked" items since they can't be used or allow the option to hide blocked items from the Inventory look up.
There have been numerous requests to be able to print reports based on more than just Dimensions 1 and 2, please consider adding additional Dimensions to the printing of reports
We often run the same financial report in slightly different versions, such as an detailed income statement and a summary income statement. It would save a lot of time if we could simply copy an Account Schedule and edit it, rather than building an account schedule from scratch.
In a multi-company scenario, it would also help to be able to export account schedules from one company and import them into another company.
